We Are…

Robbinsville Robotics League is started by enthusiastic Robbinsville FLL coaches. Our aim is to inspire young Robbinsville residents to be science and technology leaders and innovators, by engaging them in exciting Mentor-based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership. Robbinsville started with 1 FLL team (Animus) in 2014. Animus helped to start 2 teams (IDK and Shockwave) in 2015. IDK and Shockwave took initiative to create more teams in Robbinsville (6 teams competed in 2016, 10 teams competed in 2018). From RRL, at least one team goes to State Championship every year. In 2018, we had 3 teams qualified for State championships.

What is First Lego League (FLL)?

FLL is a competition involving team building, a team project, and a team robot. The Robot part is what you saw, and what kids get the most excited about. In reality, the robot is about half of the program, the rest is the team and your project.
